OSAT Blog Hop — End of Summer Tic Tac Toe
Hello-Hello stampers and paper crafters! Welcome to my blog! I'm so excited for you to hop along the August One Stamp At a Time (OSAT) Design Team Blog Hop! This month's theme is "End of Summer Tic Tac Toe". When was the last time you played a good game of Tic Tac Toe? I remember playing this game with my siblings during long car rides…anything to pass the time away. Haha! This is a special edition of the game in the idea that instead of putting X's and O's in the spot, the spots are already noted with an embellishment. We, as the crafter, had to select a row, column, or diagonal to feature in our creations.
I chose to take the winning path of Ribbon–DSP–Flowers…well, I substituted Leaves, instead of Flowers. Ooops!
The Nature's Poem Designer Series paper really had a good mix of patterns that complimented the layout with the subtle hatch and striped patterns matted on Blackberry Bliss cardstock pieces.
The sentiment images come from the Blended Seasons stamp set…only available during the month of August. OR, while supplies last. The oval layers rest upon a piece of 1/4" Copper Trim that I stretched out to give a little more balance and a different textured appearance.
I am loving everything about the Blended Seasons stamp set! So versatile and renders itself for clean and non-holiday type cards. Gorgeous!!
