Stamp It Blog Hop — Summer Love with a Daisy or Two

Yesterday was the Summer Solstice…aka The Longest Day of the year.  I've been so frantic trying to get all the details fine tuned for my Alzheimer's fundraiser retreat.  It definitely was a long day, but well worth the weekend fun for me and 24 other papercrafters will be enjoying…doing nothing but playing with stamps, paper and ink.

So, that brings me to the Daisy Lane stamp set.  I have been having so much fun playing with this set AND the new coordinating Medium Daisy punch that is available in the new Annual catalog.

As part of the registration for the retreat, each guest get the supplies to create one Make-n-Take project.  I love the Whisper White Notecards and Envelopes because they render a clean and simple card project.  Now, mind you, clean and simple is not an easy task for me, but this little purple gem came spewing out of my head and made fast action with the Daisy Lane stamps, paper and Gorgeous Grape and Garden Green inks.  Soooo CAHOOOOT!  Even though purple is the color recognized for Alzheimers, this card layout and design can be duplicated in almost every single color that Stampin' Up! has to offer.  Exciting, isn't it?!!
