Stamp It Blog Hop — New Stampin’ Up! Catalog Favorites
Hello stampers and crafty friends! The fun never ends for papercrafters, especially when It's time for the July Stamp It Blog Hop! I can't believe that it's already been over 7 weeks since the new Annual catalog went live! There are sooo many awesome stamps, paper and new inks to play with, which is the theme for this month's hop…to play and share with some of our favorites. I decided to pull out a new stamp set called "Welcome To The Team" because of it's fun and whimsical sentiments.
I don't think I've ever seen any stamp set that helps capture something that happens a lot in a work environment like this one. There are sentiments that fit nicely for a co-worker's retirement, a job promotion within the company, or the frequent moving from one company to the next. The Garden Lane Designer Series Paper has several patterns in the pack that are appropriate (I think, at least) to create a masculine cards — not just feminine. I'm a huge fan of the designs in this pack!
Fancy-fold cards always make a great conversation piece for the recipient and those attending the farewell party. They can really make the occasion extra special, too. The card measures 4-1/4" x 5-1/2", but is scored at 2-1/4" and 7-3/4" allowing it to still fit into a regular A2 sized envelope. The Mint Macaron Nature's Twine is a carryover from the previous catalog, but it is still a favorite of mine to add to my creations.
